This guy is living my dream. I too want to go out and freely travel around the world, if just for kicks.

Agree with Loti. Although I am an avid cyclist myself & have cycled in numerous places overseas self funded, I don't see why such publicity is given to this person, so much that our Prime Minister is taking an interest in it.

How I see is, it is simply this cyclist's personal pursuit of his personal dream, & perhaps now receiving some sponsorship from the Government (seeing that he is creating awareness on the 1Malaysia spirit in Scandinavia). Frankly, as a tax payer, I won't want to be paying for someone else's holiday.

So, the pertinent question now, why is it that we want to spread the whole concept & spirit of 1Malaysia to the rest of the world? It's not even successfully implemented yet in our own country, there are archaic racial disparity here, hidden in our policies that the rest of the world can't see openly. The 1Malaysian campaign is just a facade, I feel sorry for the misled people he'll be spreading the world to all over Scandinavia & I really hope more people would be more mindful of the "cool" stuff they do, rather than wasting their existence on this planet just doing something "for kicks".

This is a total waste of taxpayers money.  I viewed those images in National Geographic magazine 50 years ago. What's the big deal huh? We are already viewing Hubble Deep Space Images and NASA is beaming in the latest high definition images from Mars. Waterfalls, roads, mountain, goats etc - these are primitive images and produced by people with real Kampung mentality.

The content of the pictures posted here seem like not natural. the tyres are clean, the soles of the shoes are clean (not even a speck of dust or mud; not even a tiny bit of pebble stuck in there.) looked like he is carried there or travelling in what I don't know.

Any way what's so grand about this cycling.

If it is to the north pole or to a new yet-to-be conquered mountain, then let's brag about it. Otherwise, call it the crap.

Seriously, I cannot see what is the big deal of cycling across the Scandinavian countries. Whether it is on one bicycle or ten bicycles. And has the prime minister of our country not have much better things to do than to get cheap personal publicity out of it?
There have been so many cases of people cycling even around the world on a bicycle. And I do not think any of them was even greeted by the mayor of the country. Let alone the head of states.
