Muhammad Fauzan bin Nor Azman

Born in Kangar, Perlis, 18-young-old cyclist Muhammad Fauzan bin Nor Azman has high aspirations for himself; he knew he was going to ride far and wide, and proudly for his country, Malaysia. As a track rider, he bagged a bronze medal, together with his team mates Malek Marcus McCrone and Muhammad Asri Suraizi Mat Riadzi at the 19 Asian Junior Cycling Championship sprint event recently. In Sukan Malaysia XIII just last June, Fauzan also bagged third prize with an amazing feat and timing of (1:03:00:76). One for Malaysia!

Promising cyclist Fauzan was also invited to be part of a TV commercial entitled 'Impian Emas Negara.' As part of his first commercial, he had to cycle on a special treadmill-like platform with sheer determination. The commercial is being shot with other Olympics back-up team members Megan Elizabeth Teoh (diving), Atiq Bazil Bakri (archery), Zairul Zaimi (fencing) and Cheam June Wei (badminton). Sounds like a tiring shoot! The commercial will be shown on 8TV, ntv7 and TV9.
